An authority has been set up under the Mental Health Care Act 2017 by the state government to protect, promote & fulfill rights of people suffering from mental illness.
The group consists of 14 members including psychiatrists, psychologists and two patients.
They will also come up with ways to improve mental health.
Under the Act, it is mandatory for every district to have their own review board.
