Newest and fastest camera can capture the motion of light

Scientists in Washington have made the fastest camera till date which captures up to ten trillion frames per second.

This makes it possible to capture the light in slow motion.

Because of this technology, the interaction between light and matter can be analysed.

The camera captures the temporal focus of a single femtosecond laser pulse, the first time it was used.

Scientists are further trying to increase the speed to one quadrillion frames per second.
