The manufacture, sale and distribution of 328 fixed dose combinations (FDCs) have been banned by the health ministry. The battle between ministry and manufacturers was going on since 2016. These drugs were considered unsafe.
About 6,000 drugs are to be effected by this ban. Popular drugs that are banned are:
Panderm (skin cream)
Gluconorm PG (anti-diabetic)
D-cold Total and Corex managed to escape the ban.
