The famous horse driven Victoria carriages which operated in Mumbai before it was banned in 2015 (citing animal cruelty) are back with a new avatar.

Yes, they are back as battery operated e-buggies.

The service has started from 1st of Sept & people can take leisurely rides across the South Mumbai's iconic buildings and relive the colonial charm.

In phase 1, these will be operating from Gate of India, Ballard Estate, Nariman Point & CSTM.

Victoria were quite prominent mode of transportation in 1890s & has always been associated with this city. There is also a famous hindi movie with the name Victoria no. 203 released in 1972.

Maharashtra Governor in 2016, out of curiosity, decided to break a brick wall at Raj Bhavan & to everyone's surprise an old bunker with tunnels and tiny rooms was found.

The discovered bunker was then cleaned, restored & developed & has been decided to be opened up as public museum from October onward this year.

The museum will be aimed to orient visitors of Mumbai's maritime military history.

Will connect Mandwa, Thane & Belapur with South Mumbai in 30 minutes.

Will also connect Airoli, Nerul, Vashi, JNPT, Karanja, Kanhojee Angre & Panvel airport with South Mumbai.

Currently it takes 1.5 hours between Belapur and Fort by road taxi.

Its a close hold partner dance, slow & sensual. The music has a romantic flow. 

It usually takes 4 classes of 2 hours each to learn this form of dance.

The workshops and classes are usually held in Bandra during weekends by leading Kizomba experts.

On Wednesday, after 20 years a gallery has opened in Malabar Hills, which is 4000 sq feet wide. 

The deck stands above 290m above sea level.and has telescopes and binoculars to get a proper view of Marine Drive.

The Cafe Nazi used to operate on the space but BMC has decided to open the space for public. 

The renovation cost BMC a total of 8 crores.

There are two other attractions restored too- a Bandstand garden and Purbhudas Kothari Pyau.
